The BSc. ( Hons) Occupational Safety & Health Management programme dispensed by the University of Technology Mauritius , under the School of Sustainable Development & Tourism (SSDT), in the Department of Science, Environment and Social Sustainability (DESSS), is the sole occupational safety & health course in Mauritius, having been accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) UK so far. Such accreditation enables incumbents to practice as Safety & Health Officers in many countries throughout the world without the need to take up additional qualifications or examinations. |
