Objectives
Understand the complexities of the travel and tourism industry, including key players and contemporary trends;
Provide students with the multidisciplinary theoretical knowledge and skills as well as hands-on practical experience to adapt to the emerging trends and technologies shaping the future of the travel and tourism industry;
Develop an association between theory and practice through a range of project-based assignments and work placement;
Promote a customer-centric approach, emphasising the importance of service excellence and service experience essential to the travel and tourism industry;
Equip students with practical and transferable skills such as critical thinking, research skills, teamwork, resilience, time management and communication skills that are highly attractive to employers.
