Toshima has been providing her academic services to the UTM for the past 15 years and has over the years held various academic and administrative roles.
Head of Department – 2013-2015 and 2021 – till date and she has been the Academic representative on the Academic council, Quality Assurance and other sub-committees to name a few.
In her capacity of Head of Department, she has organized National Workshops/Seminars, lead research projects and participated in many national, local and regional conferences/events to share and disseminate her passion and the purpose of the school that is working towards achieving environmental sustainability.
