Research interests:
Main research interests relate to tourism development and hospitality management. She is particularly interested in tourism development in small islands and developing countries, the well-being of destination communities, resort tourism, agritourism, tourism in emerging markets, sustainable tourism, and the tourism experience.
Dr Naidoo obtained her PhD in 2014 and has published in numerous journals and has presented several papers in international conferences. She has published book chapters in the area of tourism and has also worked on funded research projects in the field of mystery shopping for the public sector, sustainable consumption, decent work, small and medium enterprises, agritourism, tourism and quality of life, sustainable souvenirs and gender issues.
