Businesses are being driven forward by data analytics. Business analytics professionals evaluate available data to get a better understanding of a company’s history and current situation, estimate likely outcomes, and take efficient steps utilising sophisticated methodologies such as data mining, exploratory and predictive models, and so on.
This programme is intended to provide students with both academic and practical statistical abilities for use in the business. Among the topics covered in the programme include computer science, education, economics, and marketing. After completion of the programme, the graduates will be expected to (i) have adequate statistical skills for data analysis and interpretation; (ii) have gained a broad understanding of statistical decision making for industrial problems; and (iii) demonstrate an understanding of statistical packages required for computational statistics.
