Office of Registrar

Created in 2019, the role of the Marketing Unit is to increase the visibility of the University through the creation and implementation of marketing activities that would increase student enrollment, inform prospective students, raise external awareness of university events, activities, courses, programs and services. The marketing unit looks at actively enhancing the image of the University by showcasing students and staff work and projects carried out online via the multimedia, use of photographs, press adverts and or articles

The Marketing Unit focuses on projects designed for an external audience (prospective students, parents, alumni, businesses, organizations, media, and the community).

The Marketing Unit also assists School and Departments in the organization of internal events through the design of materials.

  • Implement external marketing communications and branding, including advertising, public relations, and website
  • Promote University programs, services, and opportunities to external audiences, including prospective students, college supporters, stakeholders and the community
  • Support the University mission through strategic marketing, including the use of photography and assisting departments, with the help of external parties, to design any artwork that are required
  • Produce creative designs, concepts, and layouts for marketing projects such as advertisements, flyers, posters, brochures, booklets, leaflets, logos, newsletters, postcards, etc.
  • Disseminate news/feature stories and announcements to media outlets about the University
  • Identify and execute key media relations efforts
  • Capture, edit, and assemble audio, video, and still images for marketing, promotional, and informational use
  • Develop and maintain University social networking sites, including Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and other emerging sites
  • Establish a unified voice and visual identity for the University
  • Ensure that University print and electronic projects are well-designed, well-written, and produced within specific budget parameters
  • Evaluate with the help of professionals in the field the effectiveness of marketing activities
