The Department of Tourism, Leisure and Services (DTLS) has been successful in contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and skills, as well as capacity building in the fields of tourism, hospitality, services, marketing, communication and public relations, helping to drive the economic growth of our country.

The department is committed to high standards of teaching and research, offering the possibility to local and international students to pursue studies at Bachelors, Masters and PhD levels.  We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes including  the  BSc (Hons) Tourism and Hospitality Management, BA (Hons) Communication, MSc International Tourism Management, MSc Tourism and Marketing Management, and MA in Communication and Public Relations. To this end, the department is geared to producing quality graduates and researchers, trained to venture into various sectors.

At DTLS, we pride ourselves to design and offer programmes in an inclusive manner, catering both for the needs of fresh graduates and professionals who wish to gain or enhance their qualifications and theoretical awareness for career advancement.  Our programmes offer interesting, diverse and challenging employment opportunities for students to increasingly operate at a global level. Our academic staff are also actively involved in research and local and international collaborations with both private and public sectors to stay abreast with innovations in the diverse fields of study.
